Brother to a criminal outlaw who has been banished from civilized society, Byron fled too, having to live with his brother's burden and reputation. All he wanted was a peaceful life. So he made a home for himself deep in the woods, where he could be alone and not bother anyone. Being in the woods alone so long made him desperate for company, and he found himself befriending a monster for companionship. But it would not last, not wanting to be alone, he demanded he be turned into a monster like him, so they could be together. But... after he finally convinced him to turn him, his monster companion was hunted down and slaughtered. Byron was alone again and now more tormented by his new uncontrollable form. 

Over the years alone, he had collected many books, though not a well-learned man, he was always curious and willing to learn, so he wanted to read every book he collected. But, once he turned into this fearsome beast, he tried to find things to keep him calm. He thought reading his collection would help, but he couldn't in this new form. His animalistic instincts and urges wouldn't allow him. His rage was unbearable.

His big heart was shrinking because he could not trust himself around the things he once cared for. Though never well-to-do, he was always materialistic, but now goods meant so little to him, but he couldn't bear to part with anything from his past. Soon, his only comfort was sleep. 

Trivia:

• A flower that blooms every so often in the woods is the only thing that can bring him back to his human form when its brewed into a tea and it lasts different lengths depending on the strength of the brew.
• prefers to be shirtless or wear something open, can be drawn in any type of fairly simple clothing, likes colorful things
