Description & Personality:
Aurum is a young adult kalashtar. He is a Soulknife Rogue with the ability to summon psychic purple knifes to wield at will. Aurum is a known liar. He seeks to manipulate others to his will, constructing narratives that suit his desires. With an insatiable lust for power, Aurum will seek control of both people and his situation, even if it means breaking a few people in the process. His need for control stems from his childhood loss of his parents, and as such, true appreciation and compassion towards Aurum will sway his malice. Aurum is troubled, but not irredeemable.

Background & History:
Aurum and his twin Sister Marcy were born to Maryam and Alrune. In their childhood, Aurum's parents left the siblings to fend for themselves one day, causing the two to become dependent on each other. To fend for themselves, Marcy would look to do clerical work for the people; however, Aurum would seek the underbelly of the city for finances. He ran errands for crime lords, much to his financial benefit. He would gain knowledge of the system and soon learn how to exploit it. Aurum would gain a taste for power as he was left powerless before. As he grew, he discover his psionic abilities, first manifesting daggers of pure energy. With time, his psionics strengthened and could achieve new forms.

The Godless Era Timeline:
Aurum would abandon his sister Marcy after a fallout about the nature of his elicit doings. In a power grab, Aurum tricked a Divine of Blades into transfering their Divine-ship to him, to which he would betray and killed later. With his enhanced soulknives, Aurum would be able to rise the ranks of organized crime, then transitioning to actual government ranks. In the end, Aurum would end up ascending to being king of the city of Varacrest, to which he rules to this day.
