Personality
Ampyx has a ton of energy, unlike Amira who seems to run out very quickly. Ampyx could talk to you for days and days without stopping. Secretly, Ampyx is very insecure and internalizes a lot of things people say to her without whoever said it actually realizing it. Over time these things kept piling and piling up. Despite that, Ampyx is quite extroverted and loves to have people she values close.

Kai
Ampyx went to Kai after being kicked out/leaving her parents at 14. Kai’s mother took Ampyx under her wing and acted as Ampyx’s parental figure for the rest of their childhood. Kai and Ampyx became very close and had a sibling dynamic. Both being pretty extroverted and smooth talkers, they got along extraordinarily well. However, they bumped heads repeatedly because of how similar they were.
Amira
Ampyx was only 6 when they first met Amira, and despite Amira’s trait of not reaching out to people and staying silent, Ampyx eventually befriended Amira and quickly became the only person Amira would reach out to. Amira would even contact Ampyx before her own parents. Despite having many other friends, Ampyx secretly valued Amira’s friendship the most. Luckily, their friendship lasted another 11 years and they started dating. Ampyx teases/flirts with Amira to watch her squirm, and Amira probably almost always wants to punch Ampyx.

Ampyx’s father didn’t care much for Ampyx so the only thing left was their mother. Unfortunately her mother often didn’t care much for Ampyx either, so for most of what Ampyx can remember, they were taking care of themself. Because of this Ampyx didn’t like either of her parents for leaving her to raise herself. Their father finally left when Ampyx was 14. Her mother, knowing it would be hard for her to be the only parental figure for Ampyx, and pretty much not having her father there for such a long time, this had finally been the last straw and Ampyx’s mother kicked Ampyx out. Ampyx resented her mother for this.
