Speedy's ace during his first run of the Kanto Pokémon League. Has the mysterious ability to resist Electric-type moves, despite being water type, making the moves not very effective.
Through additional training, Blastoise sometimes can completely resist Electric-type moves, causing them to have no effect.

Design Differences:
This Blastoise has an eye color that match the ears, and their shell is a bit duller of color than other Blastoise.
