----------

Allurid is a dragon originating from the depths of the sea. His species is known to be able to become incredibly huge, with ancient individuals rivaling smaller mountains with their wingspan; they all possess scales thicker than armor, as well as claws and teeth that can rip through steel like paper. Due to these characteristics, these sea dragons often avoided each other, as conflicts can result in the death of multiple dragons should they arise. However, even that was not enough to deter all fights for food or territory.

Being considered as a runt, Allurid lived cautious in his short time at his home. He had survived by avoiding conflicts, whether by running away, or more likely, hiding. Family, to these dragons, was fickle, as most sea dragons prefered being solitary. Allurid survived by himself, not particularly minding that aspect as most of his interactions with others are somewhat dangerous for him.

In his time there, he began to discover ancient shipwrecks. Though living in the sea, he is nevertheless a dragon, having his curiosity piqued by the existence of these strangely-shaped debris and what they contained. Slowly and surely, he collected them, building a strange hoard away from the territories of other sea dragons as he dreamed of the world above. What is that place like? Who built these things? Why would they need it?

One day, he had finally decided to see for himself, his heart pounding in excitement as he left; he had no idea what to expect, but he was excited as he approached a new world.

Currently, he is known as the watchful sea monster; many vessels had caught sightings of him, though he tended to remain somewhat far from them. However, some rumors had mentioned that the dragon often approached smaller and less intimidating vessels, seemingly looking to interact with people.
