Koroko

A tiny forest-dwelling youkai, gleaning his power from offerings left in abandoned godless shrines.  He lost his home very long ago in the collateral damage caused by larger warring youkai, and is on a constant quest for power in order to have the spiritual ability to cease fights when his words and diplomacy are not enough. His wish is to become a small land god, capable of resolving fights in the spiritual and mortal realms alike, and his benevolence is his greatest quality and fault, for he sometimes cannot see from the perspective of others embittered by unsalvageable wrongdoings.
