Bonbon and him are childhood friends.
There has been a rivalry going on between him and Bonbon... or so Mero thinks!
Bonbon usually doesn't respond to any of Mero's challenges.
When they first met, Mero had mistaken Bonbon for a girl and kinda had a crush on Bonbon. 
In the end Mero found out that Bonbon is a boy, Mero still gets awkward when this subject gets mentioned.

Mamii’s the new girl in the neighborhood.
Ever since she moved to Mero and Bonbon’s neighoborhood, Bonbon and her have become really close - and Mero does not like that.
So pretty much Mero and her hated each others.
Mero is the only one who is “immuned” to Mamii’s cuteness.

Mamoru and Mero often bump into each others at the library.
They then become friend after Mamoru recommend him interesting adventure novels.
With respect, Mero loves to chat with Mamoru, and think of him as a know-it-all.
