Nightshade was a... Less than welcomed surprise. I was aware of my Lady's intentions to let him father her child, but I didn't expect her to invite him to stay with us, let alone for him to accept.
At first, I saw no reason to my Lady's choice. He was a nervous wreck and could do nothing to defend our kingdom. But... He grew on me. It's hard to dismiss someone's hard work, especially when there's quality to it. His care of our gardens, whether Nightshade has realized it or not, has restored some of our magic.
...Now that my queen is no longer sentenced to death and she wishes to make Nightshade her king, I must admit that I do hold some respect for him.
I'm not going to lie... Faye kind of intimates me... I'm not sure if she likes me, tolerates me, or hates my guts. She has one of those faces that are hard to read. But she's good at her job, and I trust her at the end of the day
Lunar... I can respect him. He has an important position in Azurel and he is clearly dedicated to his family.
... but he has some issues he needs to work through. He needs to find a way to look past his guilt, or else it's going to consume him.
I can see why Aya trusts Faye. She takes her job seriously, and she seems to be good at what she does.
