Lexing is both incredibly intelligent and a snarky individual, he often speaks with big words that those around him may or may not know the definitions of. He's also pretty reserved and doesn't talk to people when it's not necessary, and as a result he doesn't tend to make many friends.
Despite being very snarky, he's also very submissive, and gives in to pretty much anything. He's definitely more naturally inclined to be a follower than a leader. Even though he's easily pushed over, he struggles a lot with power dynamics, and relishes the feeling when he has any sort of control over a situation.
He's very touch-starved due to his reserved behaviour, and can easily be persuaded to do things via physical attention. It takes very little for his barriers to break down and for him to become much more needy.
Staying up late and waking up early, Lexing likes to stay busy. He's constantly working on some project or another, and quickly gets antsy when he doesn't know what to do.
Spider-Arms: Lexing has four spider-limbs coming out of his back that he can use as additional arms. He can retract these limbs whenever he pleases. On default they're retracted, but he uses them pretty frequently as additional arms or for defense/offense.
Sharp Teeth & Claws: He has incredibly sharp teeth and claws that make good weapons in a pinch.
The Beginning
Lexing was originally a regular feline, and was turned into a spider-demon by Queen after he began working for her. The effects of this transformation cause him to feel disconnected to his past, like it wasn't really his own, so he does not pursue anything related to what he considers his previous life. Occasionally he feels saddened by what he's lost, but he doesn't really have any way to reconnect with what he had before.
The transformation also caused him to become loyal to Queen from the get go, though his feelings towards her could potentially change over time.
Working for Queen
Lexing spends his time working for Queen on her world domination schemes, mostly on science or engineering related projects. He's the intelligent one of the group and reminds the others that when they look down on him for being weaker. He doesn't normally go on missions like the others do, though he does on occasion if it's more akin to his skillset, or if the others are already busy with something else. He gets pushed around a lot by both Queen and his work partner, Ranger, though he doesn't really do anything about it.
Occasionally he runs into Lambda or Joey (or others) and gets into fights with them, though he tries to avoid confrontation when possible. Over time, he develops a closeness with Lambda, who in turn begins advising him to do his own thing, and to not take Queen and Ranger's shit.
As Queen begins to suspect his disloyalty, she threatens him on a multitude of occasions and even tries to kill him a couple times, though he always manages to convince her not to. Occasionally, Ranger would also help to ease Queen's temper towards Lexing.
Leaving Queen
Over time, Lexing's loyalty to Queen wanes, and eventually he expresses to her his desire to no longer work for her. In retaliation, Queen tries to kill him for his betrayal, but Lambda was there to make sure nothing went wrong. Lambda nearly killed Queen to stop her from killing Lexing, and she just barely managed to get away with her life.
After this incident, Queen begins to spiral, believing that Lexing and Lambda are out to get her. She starts focusing on revenge instead of her original plans, and she becomes increasingly unreliable for getting things done. At this point in time, Ranger begins to doubt his loyalties to Queen as well, due to her behaviour.
Meanwhile, Lexing is just doing odd jobs for whoever will hire him and working on some of his own projects, mostly his isopods.
Ranger's Partnership
Ranger eventually splits off from Queen as well, along with a small group of spiders who also noticed Queen's increasingly unpredictable behaviour. Queen of course does not take this well, and adds Ranger's group to her list of people she needs to get revenge on.
Ranger eventually finds Lexing, and proposes a new partnership where they provide each other with protection and work together to deal with Queen. While unsure at first, Lexing is eventually convinced, and the two begin working together once again.

- He has a variety of pet isopods, including some that he's genetically modified, as well as a multitude of robotic isopods he created himself
- While technically being stronger than the average person, he's considered a relatively weak demon, and could easily be bested in a fight by most of his peers

A rival villain to Queen, Lambda was originally on Lexing's enemy list. Lexing originally learned of them due to Queen tasking him with getting intel on them. The more he learned about Lambda, the more he feared them and their power. However, after a multitude of interactions, the two grew close and eventually became lovers.
Ranger •

Ranger is one of Lexing's work partners. They frequently mock each other and get on each other's nerves. Despite his snarking back, Lexing is incredibly submissive to Ranger.
However, after the incident with Queen, Lexing and Ranger eventually team up together again, this time on a bit more even playing ground.
Queen •

Lexing works for Queen as her scientist/engineer, and does whatever she says, whether he likes it or not.
He eventually leaves her, to which she tries to kill him, but in turn Lambda tries to kill her. They both barely managed to get away with their lives. After this incident, Queen wants to get her revenge on the two of them, though Lexing is mostly afraid of her and just wants to be left alone.
Joey •

Joey is a hero and therefore tries to stop Lexing from doing bad things. They eventually form a strange sort of friendship though, which makes both of their jobs a bit harder to do.
