Kyoko is a nogitsune/yako, a spirit fox who does not serve Inari-Okami, while his brother Heiden is a myōbu/byakko; a messenger of the kami. The two split ways when they were young, and Kyoko resents his brother for choosing the life that he did.
Although the two brothers have not seen each other for over a century, they are always aware of each others wellbeing through a spiritual connection.
In human form he comes across as very effeminate and eccentric
He can usually be seen wearing yukatas, kimonos or traditional clothes
He also has a kind of 'semi-anthro' youkai form (see ref)
I don't have any proper images of his human form but he is usually male, slim, medium length black hair and often still has his tail and ears visible (though attempts to hide them)
