Backstory

Yurei is a spirit born from Artemis's wish to protect the forest. Together with her wish, the prayers of all the pokemon in the forest, and the energy of the forest itself, he came into being. Because of this, however, he can only exist within the forest.

Yurei is a gentle soul, with the power to see everything that goes on within the forest, the same as Artemis. He is the one that causes the fog when someone with ill intent comes into the forest. If they continue to persist he will put them to sleep and drag them out of the forest. during that time, the people will suffer horrible nightmares due to his ability.

His nightmare ability makes him a loner at night. He goes to the farthest corner of the forest to hide away while everyone sleeps so as not to disturb the sleeping public with his nightmare ability. Because of his ability and appearance, the residence is wary of him. While they appreciate his protection, they can't help but feel timid. Rumors of his infamy exist even outside the forest. Many superstitions in local towns stop people from going into the forest, while others offer tribut.
