R Leporis (Lep for short) is a Mira variable star in the constellation Lepus, the hare. Being a variable star (and quite the variable star at that), her magical power tends to fluctuate, ranging from extremely weak to exceedingly destructive. While she has had trouble dealing with her varying states in the past, over time she has learned to manage it, keeping it within an "average range" so that she is neither too weak to fight nor too strong to handle. However, her control over her powers tends to wane when under emotional stress.
Also a side effect of her variability is her mood swings, which, like her magic, she has gotten better over time at maintaining. Now she only has sudden bursts of anger (which still tend to terrify everyone, as it's a complete 180 from her normal personality).
Nevertheless, Lep maintains a very bubbly and optimistic demeanor, and generally is friendly to everyone she meets. (Except for Canis stars--she is absolutely terrified of them.)
Physically, Lep is intended to be about 18 years old. However, like other stars, she is actually millions of years old. She has a petite figure and stands at 5'0". She has dark skin and a round face with large, curious eyes.
