Profile
Faolain is 5'3" with red hair and pale skin. His eyes are an almost pink-ish brown, which can appear red in certain lighting. His vallaslin, that of Sylaise, is brown with a slight red tint. He has no scars on his face, though there are several on his torso, hidden beneath his armour.
His armour of choice is that typically worn by hunters in his clan, made from Dalish leather.

- Archery - Not only is it his preferred method of combat, archery has also been Faolain's primary way to relax for as long as he can remember. He never knew his parents, as a child he had wanted to feel connected to them in any way possible. Since he could hardly practice magic to emulate his father, he decided he wanted to be a hunter. Determined to learn how to shoot a bow since before he can remember, over time it grew to help him calm his mind.

- Mirrors - Ever since what happened to poor Tamlen, he point blank refuses to use them. If he needs to see his reflection? He'll go find a puddle. When it came to going through the Eluvian with Morrigan, he hesitated not because he didn't want to go, but because "Am I really going to go through this giant mirror portal?" He did, but it wasn't easy for him.

A woman who, at first, was one the the few humans he could stand, Morrigan quickly grew into something more to Faolain. They may not seem like much of a couple to anyone who doesn't know them well, but they care very deeply for each other.
Chosing to venture through the Eluvian with Morrigan, the two raise their son Kieran together. Eventually Faolain departs to search for a cure to the Calling, and Morrigan becomes the Arcane Advisior to Empress Celene of Orlais, taking Kieran with her. They regularly keep in contact.
As unlikely as a friendship between an Elf and a Golem might seem, these two somehow make it work. Some may note that Faolain tends to kill an unusual amount of pigeons when hunting, but that has nothing to do with Shale's hatred of them. Nothing at all.
Shale has promised to seek out Faolain after their trip to Tevinter, perhaps once back in their more squishy form. (Faolain doubts he will recognise Shale on sight as a dwarf, but he truely hopes that they shall meet again.)
