Alida Corcoran

Conley's mother, formerly Alida Lantos. She's a spirited, strong-willed woman and an absolute spitfire. She was more or less the heiress to a big record company and had a successful career in music herself. She wasn't big on the proper and responsible air her family wanted her to keep, though, so she'd often go off and found herself fighting in some underground boxing rings. She made a fair name for herself, and this was also where she met her husband Rordan. When her family learned of her relationship with him a year or so later, they gave her an ultimatum: leave the man with a bad family name, or leave the family. She chose love.

It was a hard life, but she and Rordan were happy together, doubly so when they had Conley. Unfortunately, due to the Corcoran name carrying very negative connotations, holding down good work proved to be very difficult. Ultimately, she and her husband essentially worked themselves to death. Many years later, though, they got another chance to be there for their son when he befriended a powerful fae and was granted the boon of a Wish...and his wish? To have them back.
