Andromeda's Links
If Andromeda had a choice, she would not allow Julian on the ship - not because she dislikes him, or because he's problematic. In fact, it's quite the opposite - he's a sweet boy, seemingly naïve to the ways of the world, and in turn seems to have a... problematic draw to the more troublesome members of the ship. If she could help it, she would keep him off the ship for his *own* sake, in hopes that he would find a crew better suited to his nature.
Still, she is not the captain, and so the choice does not lay with her. At the end of the day though, it is nice to have at least one true figure of good amongst them.
At first, Andromeda assumed the quite figure was nothing more than an harmless eccentric doctors, but Venin has proven himself to be a... problem. One that Andromeda fears she will have to deal with sooner rather than later, lest his actions bring ruin to the ship and crew. Thus far responded to her threats "well" enough, but she suspects it's only a matter of time before the slinking figure tries something that brings them to blows.
But if that is to be the case... well. She's weathered worse storms than him.
A quiet sort, and Andromeda is admittedly quite thankful for that. It's... hard to really get a grip on what the sniper is thinking most of the time, and whilst they seem quite inclined to lean into the seedier acts the rest of the crew delights in, they also don't seem hasty to jump into such actions.
As such, whilst Andromeda is weary of what their trigger happy actions might bring, Sumantra is one of the few members of their fledgling crew that she feels like she can trust to an extent.
Andromeda has, and always will, a soft spot for the energetic nature of younger folk. She knows that children will be children, and that it is natural to be fascinated by the world around you and the actions of those you encounter. She just... wishes Wisteria wasn't so keen on the seedier actions that DeKadde and the others seem so quick to jump to.
Still, she has proven to be thoughtful and caring when not wrapped up in the bugs hype, and her interest in learning to sail can't help but pluck at some of Andromeda's cold heartstrings. She hopes, in time, to bring at least some good to this ones life.
It's no secret that Andromeda is not fond of Dekadde. He is a loud mouth braggard who openly talks of mutiny and clearly wishes to put himself in charge, but in turn seemingly has no real plans beyond swashbuckling adventures and swindling. Perhaps in time he could be a decent replacement for Chorus, but in the here and now he serves as nothing more than a distraction and a bad influence on the younger members of the crew.
In time she suspects she'll have to do something to nip the growing restlessness in the bud, but for now? His ceaseless supply of hot air at least serves to keep the ship moving in the right direction.
