Comes from an island populated by reptiles on an Earth-like planet. On the intelligence scale he'd be smarter than Retza, but on occasion will share a single brain cell with her. He has an old friend in which they both build gadgets and do other sorts of tinkering. Generally he is cautious about certain situations he and Retza will get into, and might advise against a risky idea, but if push comes to shove, he will figure something out and work with it anyway. Though most of the time he ust rolls with Retza's way of handling things since it seems to work out for them quite a lot, that being brute forcing shit lol. Of course he doesn't just take a back seat, there will always be a plan B in case something goes south, thanks to his tools on hand.
