The things that happened to him throughout childhood have taken a toll on him. He often tries to hide as much of his body as possible to hide scars left by the punishments of his Father. He can tell you the definition of most words and recount soliloquies or monologues from classic literature on command and fearfully reveres Henry Croft. Out of habit, he'll often memorise movie or theatre lines that he or his friends enjoy, spouting them randomly wherever he sees fit. One of his favourite movies and musicals to quote is 'Heathers' since he really enjoys the sense of humour and writing style.

Head Waiter

As the Head Waiter, Vincent gets to decide shifts for everyone who works beneath him as normal serving staff. Though it's just a theory, some waiters think he's giving himself and Scott less hours than everyone else...But of course that's not true, and it's actually quite the opposite.

Snarky McSnarkypants

Thanks to all that childhood abuse and repression, Vincent has grown into quite the sassy las-...laddie? He has a very quick sense of humour, almost never missing a beat in throwing out another witty retort or the like.

Childhood Trauma, I choose you!

Vincent's father repeatedly drilled (not literally) all forms of classic English and European literature into the boy's head, along with forcing him to learn the definitions for hundreds upon hundreds of words. This has allowed Vincent to develop a very impressive memory, but he still has an instinctual reaction when commanded to define things or etc.

Relationships

Scott

[ Bromance ] Though he can seem a little bit cruel or cold to Scott, he loves him dearly. Vincent would give his life up for Scott and often complains that he made him into 'some weird person who feels things.' Having been together since childhood, the two are exceptionally close and haave supported eachother through everything.

Harriet

[ Waifu ] Around Harriet, Vincent acts like a flirty confident womaniser. In truth, he's extremely protective of her and truly loves her as well as Scott. The three are happy in their little situation and share unending affection all round.

William Ashton

[ Father ] Vincent despises and fears his father for everything he has done and all of the damage he can never repair. He even changed his surname to Henry's middle name to spite his father.

Trivia

• His father shot him in the shoulder once and, because Vincent enjoys the 'tragic irony' of it, he wears the very same bullet that was removed from his shoulder as a necklace.
• After many years, when William tried to reconnect with his son, he bought him a dog after misinterpreting something Henry had told him. Vincent now owns a blue merle Papillon named Misty.
• The first time Vincent properly confessed to Scott was while trapped in an elevator. He blamed it on oxygen deprivation, despite the ventilation inside the elevator.
