THE PAST
Jojo's past is seldom spoken about. Or well, it is, but you wouldn't know that it's him. Sometime back in the 80's there was a rather popular weather broadcast station, it's host known for wearing a rainbow tie and being pretty lighthearted and silly on air. The gesture was appreciated, since every other broadcaster would be dressed in blacks, whites, and other neutral colors. Their personalities were akin to cardboard, if anything. Regardless the name Elstree would seem familiar because at that frame in time, Jojo was still an average human with a lot of pressure on his shoulders to uphold a personality and life that just wasn't for him. He wanted out, and he wanted it desperately.
So, one day, after the workday was done, he quietly went home and was never seen again. Not a trace was left behind, the now ex-weatherman dropped off the face of the earth completely. And to this day, people would still search for someone who doesn't exist anymore. At least not in flesh.
But, jumping back to what Elstree did while in the process of transforming himself into something entirely new--- He knew that dying wasn't enough. They'd have skin and bones to keep in the limelight forever. A tragedy wrapped in colorful fabric that would be talked about over, and over, and over. And because of that, he swore that he would rather surrender his humanity than to die as one and be remembered as someone he never was.

He's half human and half machine! Or well. It's a little less balanced than that, really all that remains of his body are some bones long since encased in a new shell and his still-beating heart.
Jojo really doesn't use or respond to "Elstree" anymore, it kinda kills his mood if he hears that name uttered.
He's too tall to fit in most cars, so he bikes around everywhere if it isn't within walking distance.
His face is rather simple, and can change into anything. The rainbow background is also not permanent and is an aesthetic choice.
Jojo is somewhat obsessed with self-grooming, often adjusting his bowtie and collar or possibly re-applying any cologne he was wearing if idle.
