About
Marian Enache is a very well known cryptozoologist and researcher. He often goes out on the field and publishes his research on various cryptids and paranormal beings. He has serveral well regarded books, his most popular being on the cryptid dubbed 'The Transylvania Terror'. TT is a cryptid based in Romania, mainly towards Marian's hometown. Ever since Marian's first look into the creature, many sightings have been spotted all across Romania, and even in neighboring countries. He has a lot of research on a majority of well-known cryptids and if they're not published in books, they can be found online. He has made brief appearances on some documentaries and cryptid hunting shows, but he is most known for his writing and is well loved throughout the cryptid fanatic community.
Marian is the definition of cryptic. He’a sorta like an anomaly. At first glance, it’s very clear that he isn’t the most socially intelligent. He’s weird, awkward, and cannot pick up on tone to save his life. He almost has a vibe of a vampire. Sure he’s polite and kind, but something just seems off about him. This isn’t the case, he’s just incredibly autistic. He isn’t the best at explaining himself or his emotions, and struggles to allow himself to feel extreme emotions. But once you get to know him, it’s obvious that he’s not scary. He cares for others way more than himself, is very dedicated to his work, and has a very dry sense of humor that can be hard to read.
Childhood
Marian was born in the fictional town of Tolbas, Romania. Tolbas was fairly close to Bran Castle, so it was often seen as a tourist destination. Marian's interest in cryptids was very predictable. His parents were monster hunters and took pride in it. Their house was filled to the brim with monster and cryptid memorabilia. He quickly became fascinated with all of the creatures. At some points, it seemed like that it was ALL he liked. He wasn't interested in anything that wasn't supernatural related. Along with this, it was clear that Marian had some developmental issues. He was very slow when it came to things like speaking and walking. Even though there was something up with him, his parents never went to check it out. Instead, they often punished him for his behavior.
When Marian began to show distaste in the fact that his parents hunted the creatures that he loved so much, it was met with punishment. They were emotionally neglectful, abusive, and terrible in all around. They punished Marian for his frequent meltdowns as well. This led him to eventually just...hide his feelings to the best of his abilities. Years go by and Marian's interest in cryptids only grow stronger. He began to do his own research and study creatures extensively. It was slowly becoming his passion. Around this time was when Alina, his younger sister, was born. He adored that girl with all of his heart. He practically raised her. Their parents were a little more easy going when it came to her, just because she seemed more neurotypical. But that didn't mean that they were complete saints to the girl, either. They constantly lashed out at her (and Marian). It was not a great time in the Enache household.

Current
While he is still in contact with his cryptozoologist friends, he has a new group of friends that he heavily leans on. He met them all just by fate, but Marian couldn’t be happier. He’s not the most extroverted person, but it’s nice for him to have friends who care about him for once. Friends his age, that is. He continues to publish his research to this day, but is a little less obsessive than he was prior. Marian is doing better for himself, but he fails to realize that he needs therapy to fully heal from everything that has happened to him. He’s still overly apologetic, refuses to show his actual emotions, and is still unaware of things like his autism. But for now, he's just vibing with his pals. He's never been happier (even if he's not great at showing it).
