Backstory

Ann and her sister, Claudia, were born as ralts and raised by a human man. The young man started dating a woman and eventually got married. But the man was never honest to her. He would be gone all night and only come home in the mornings and always claimed it was work. His wife would always nod and smile but deep down she had suspicions. She was extremely clingy and always asking where he was when he wasn't home. She also was jealous of any woman he talked to. Ann and Claudia spent most of their time just watching the insanity between the two of them.

One day, the man left home and never came back. After the wife did some digging, he ran away with another woman. She snapped. She began burning all of his belongings and destroying the house. Ann and her sister both hid from her the best they could, but she found them. She grabbed Claudia first and pulled her to the bathroom where the tub was already filled with water. Ann tried her best to stop the madwoman, but she was still just a child and had no power to stop her. She drowned Claudia and once she was dead she grabbed Ann and repeated the process. Once both of them were dead the woman began to calm down. She hated looking at them since they always reminded her of her husband, they were his after all. Once they were buried in the back yard she did her best to clean up what she could and continued her life with a huge grudge on her back.

But weird things began to happen. She would see shapes in the shadows of her house. She would feel eyes on the back of her head. Some of the rooms in her house were colder than the rest. Then there were the nightmares. It kept her up all night, they were so bad. Even with all this going on, she still obsessed over her run-away husband. It was almost like she had no control over it. She was going insane. She wasn't eating. She wasn't sleeping. She obsessed over how to find her husband and how to get him back. But she also felt a presence in her home, like someone was always watching her. Voices whispered in her ear, and nightmares plagued her when she tried to sleep. There was no peace.

Unable to handle any more, she hung herself in her living room. In her dying moments, she was two familiar pokemon watching her. It was Ann and Claudia but they were slightly different, they were ghosts now. Claudia just quietly watched but Ann was smiling. This whole time after the two of them were killed, Ann had been haunting the woman. Warping the woman's mind with her powers and her own personal hate for the woman. She drove her to insanity, to the point of death, and she was proud of herself. No one hurts her sister after all.

Once the woman passed away the two of them left the house and began to wonder. They found their way to Foggy Willow and got comfortable in the old mansion there. It was full of other ghost pokemon for them to hang out with but none of them were too scary. They were still young, but one pokemon, Atlas, took an interest in them and adopted them both, teaching them the ways of the world like any mother would. Now adults, they still live in the forest.
