⪢ Personality ) Ymir is a little waspish and frigid, but not on purpose, not having much experience in socialization. Her words are, as a result, usually rather blunt and to the point, but she is not unfriendly. Perhaps with time she may learn to loosen up a bit. She's also incredibly curious, and more eager to make friends and fit in more than she'd care to admit.

⪢ Backstory ) An alchemist of unknown identity set out for Dragonspine to try to create lifeforms from whatever was left of Durin. Three artificial eggs were eventually created, and yet the alchemist could not get them to hatch, to spring to life. Surely their formulas and equations were perfect. As a last ditch effort, they laid the eggs out in the snow. Perhaps being near the bones of the being they were created from would instigate their arrival to this world. Unfortunately, a hilichurl found the trio. It messed around with them until one slipped from the path and rolled down the snow-covered mountain through Wyrmrest Valley. By some miraculous stroke of luck, the egg did not break, and instead rolled all the way to a mysterious, heart-like structure deep in the mountain. Whatever remnants of the ancient beast lay in Dragonspine, it is that which ultimately led the egg to hatch. Ymir had to raise herself for the most part, her curiosity leading her to study humans in hiding, learning their language and mannerisms. As of recently, she has a cicin mage who has sought to befriend her, to some success.
