A former member of the Valo-Kas Mercenary Company, and Inquisitor Boris Adaar's best friend. He joins up with the Inquisition after the Inquisitor set a rescue team for the captured members of the Valo-Kas; two other members joined him, as they felt they owed Boris a great debt for their lives.
Kaariss is proficient in archery, but thinks of himself more like a lover than a fighter, though he does like to show off his accuracy with the bow frequently and often. He enjoys writing poetry, though most others around him have their own reserved opinions about his wordsmithing. He's fairly arrogant and full of himself; he thinks of himself very highly, and will flirt with anyone given the opportunity.
He was already a member of the Valo-Kas when Boris first joined up. When he noticed the newest addition to their merry band eating alone and away from anyone else, Kaariss took it upon himself to make introductions.
