something bad happened in an alleyway along this street. this whole corner of the city felt it, still bears the scars of it. and whilst the blood was washed away by the rain years ago, something unseen remains.
the animals all act strangely here, the shadows a little too deep and too reactive, the graffitied walls seeming to shift each time you look away. you’re not sure why you took this route. are your thoughts still your own?

Fay appreciates X’s interest in art, doesn’t mind their questions, agreed to their deal upon their first meeting. perhaps when the sting of her last days alive have faded, she’ll be more amenable to a friendship with them.

she’d made the bronze statuette in preparation for the larger piece she never had the chance to complete, and couldn’t resist performing the transformation when she found its shattered pieces on the courtyard floor. Effie’s brokenness angers her but she’s a faithful companion, and a reminder of what could have been.

Effie’s creations are bizarre and abnormal, made from helplessness and impulsivity and not all there. Patch is the only one to stick around. he’s an amusing creature; Fay doesn’t mind his chattering presence.
