Lydia

Lydia is a 5'2" light blue Chimereon with yellow accents. Her hair is dark blue, long, and straight. She has a rather anxious disposition and tends to be uncomfortable in social situations, though she's incredibly witty and has great technical skills. Highly logical and analytical. When something catches her attention, she focuses on it intensely.

Lydia is a civilized and wealthy Chimereon in her thirties. Living in the big city life, she works a well-paying job as an executive. 

She hasn't always been so fortunate, however; in fact, she grew up with nothing to her name and nobody to raise her after losing her parents at an early age. Fending for herself since childhood, she's put a lot of work into becoming who she is now, and it shows – not always in the best of ways. Anxious and uncomfortable in social situations, she can be a bit awkward at times. What she lacks in social skills, however, she makes up for by being a quick-witted businesswoman.

Even so, she has a lonely streak to her that's become quite difficult to ignore over the years. She's managed on her own for a long time, but lacking family has left her feeling rather alone in the world.

This all changed, however, when she ended up meeting Lucille, another Chimereon fairly younger than herself. Lydia ran into Lucille on the streets of the city, strumming her guitar and playing rather charming tunes along with it. When Lydia remained and listened to the younger Chimereon play, she ended up tipping rather generously, a gesture that not only delighted Lucille but saved her life. Her and Lucille would begin to meet one another over time, with Lydia listening and Lucille singing her cheery tunes. Eventually, the conversation of where Lucille was from came up – where she lived, and whatnot. Lucy explained to Lydia, with a sad smile, that she didn't really have a stable place to stay. She was couch surfing at best and living alone in the forest during tougher times.

In an uncommon gesture of selflessness, Lydia decided she wanted to take Lucille in and offered her a bed as her roommate. Lucille, delighted, accepted this, and from that point onward, the two ladies have lived together in harmony. They're quite an established couple by now.

Lydia's hobbies include drinking tea, fussing over her appearance, and collecting art to decorate her home with.

• Lydia can be drawn with or without clothing, and her earrings are optional as well.
• She is primarily an anthro character, but can be drawn feral as well. Digitigrade or plantigrade legs are fine, for anthro styles!
• Lydia sometimes ties her hair into a bun and can be drawn this way as well! She will usually have some loose hair sticking out around the front, where her "bangs" would be.

• Lydia travels often because of her job and enjoys it very much!
• Even though she's a successful businesswoman, she dreams of running a small tea shop in the countryside with her beloved.
• Her favorite flower is Chamomile, and she loves sleepy-time tea, even when she's not going to sleep.

Lucille was the first Chimereon Lydia really befriended as an adult, and after getting to know Lucy, her feelings for Lucy began to develop. The two are a long-term couple, having recently gotten together, and the saying "opposites attract" seems to fit them quite well. Lucy's kind and bubbly personality often brings out the best in Lydia, and Lydia has grown a lot as an individual, for the better, since starting their relationship.

Lydia and Maxine first met when Maxine helped her out of a snowy ditch while biome exploring. While Lydia is a bit standoffish when it comes to meeting new people, she appreciates Maxine's helpfulness and the two of them generally get along well. Lydia doesn't always understand Maxine's sense of humor, but she enjoys their friendship nevertheless.
