- Gabriel prefers to be known as 'The Collector' by acquaintances and 'Casimir' by close friends, but only his most trusted confidants know and may call him Gabriel or Gabe.

- At a young age most of his magic was stolen and his tails were taken but he was still left with his ability to see the magical potential in others, what they are capable of, as well as taking or ripping that magic from them. It is through this that he has managed to become quite powerful, taking other's magic and giving it to himself. He has been known on occasion to offer his services for a price, or bestow magic to close friends as a gift.
- He has been known to grow bored and fill his spare time with creating new types of creatures and monsters. Through the use of favors and bartering he collects genes from rare creatures and replicates them and sometimes uses bits of the magic he collects to bestow interesting powers to his creations. His most successful creations were a weird looking monkey with the ability to become invisible and repeat anything it heart, a gift for his boyfriend - and a dog that is incapable of feeling pain, being hurt, or being killed and strong enough to act as a suitable guardian for a young witch that his boyfriend had taken in.
