The Mystic of the Desert
Gabriel was a simple sand cat in the Great Crater City however he soon left to explore the land with a small caravan. After trying different jobs from scavenger to caravan owner, all of which ended badly for everyone involved, Gabriel came across an abandoned bar next to a dried-out lake bed. Figuring it was an outpost rest stop when the lake was there, he decided to call the building his home for the time being. After a month of living there, he soon discovered a bit of metal reflecting off in the middle of the lake bed. Investigating it, Gabriel soon discovered a hatch. After debating with himself about it, he decided to open it and find out what was inside.
Venturing into the bunker, Gabriel soon discovered something he didn't think he would ever see. A container was suspended by wires that held a greenish orb. During his time as a scavenger, he knew what this was, legends were spoken of a key that could give you access to any door in the world. One that could punish those who wronged you and gift pleasure to those you care about. It was a Master Key. One of a supposed 16 made in the world by the AIs as a backup key in case an AI went rogue and needed to be shut down or locked out of their system.
The orb tethered onto Gabriel and followed him everywhere after that point, forcing Gabriel to wear a bag to hide it whenever he enters a populated area as many people would try to take it from him.
