Biography

Diego is born to his father, Ruben Sang'ress, King of the southern lands and his human queen Ariadna, who sadly passed away - at the hands of Rubens brother Kaiser - early in the boy's life. Due to the extreme grief of his father, Diego spent a big portion of his child- and teenagehood in the custody of his second uncle Raphael and his Wife Esme, King and Queen of the Nation of Barotra. Since this he actually views them more as his parents as his actual father. Diego grew up to be a rebellious and adventurous person, behaving truly unroyal at every occasion. He sneaks out to party with the commoners and spent his night always so often with a pretty stranger on the streets. His father has already put so much effort to beat some sense of responsibility in the disgrace his son turned out to be.

History

As already said, his life started in the royal family of the southern lands. His father being on of the four emperors, a title known all over the world and being worshipped as the reincarnation of a god (which he actually is, just disguised as human to live among them), there were many expectations on Diego. But the child, burned from losing his mother, turned out to be quite rebellious, defying every word of his actually very caring father. To this day the death of his mother brings deep feelings of guilt and self-loathing upon Diego, as Ariadna solely was killed by his racist and absolute uncle, because Kaiser detests the union of a godly dragon of his own race and a mere, muddy human. Diego shames his sole existence still, not comprehending that it was not his fault at all.

Trying to distract himself from his emotions and running from his problems and responsibilities he got to know another interesting person in his life that might share more with him than he actually would want to admit. Sonoma, the crown prince of the fae, met the chaotic half-dragon on one of his trips through the outer realms, being fascinated by the freedom Diego just decided to take for himself, living it out untroubled. The both men would become lovers pretty quick, only for them to split apart because of their nations and their own problems...

Diego got aquainted with a woman of the warii'a, a shifter-folk of foxes, Liliana being assigned as his life guard and also moral teacher, as the adventures of the Prince would start to get out of hand even more so, tainting the reputation of his own house. It wouldn't take long for him to befriend Lili, dragging her into his idiotic and irresponsible adventures, forming a bond with her that might even be open for more than he himself exspected to be.
