Vittyián is a guard at the eürüsz tribe that adopts Meniad and Mirián. He almost immeadiately falls for Meniad, but he's reluctant to show or act upon his feelings. He know Meniad's heart is still broken and has been through a lot, so he's content to just watch out for both of them from the sidelines and help them get settled and heal.
Maybe after a few years things will look different.
