Cray - Sona (ALT story)

In this alt story of Cray, he is still like in the main one, with the curse that forces them to eat human flesh to stay alive, but with the differences that Gloom, doesn't exist, so there isn't a "guardian angel" as part of this curse, and he isn't a shapesifter, he's just a human hibrid with animal-like actitudes and appeareance.

Everything goes as in the original story, mainly living in a forest until he meets a human named "J", despite Cray's cannibalistic tendencies, he ends up in love with J, and the two became attached.

Cray suppressed his cannibalistic tendencies so he could be with J, and over time, one day as a result of that, Cray lost control, causing him to attack J.

J, knowing of Cray's behaviors, and being equally in love with Cray, he let Cray feed on him. Accepting to be killed by the love of his life.

When Cray came back to consciousness, he realized that he had fed on J. Feeling a deep pain, which made him break inside. While hugging what was left of J.

Cray stayed with her body the rest of the night, until almost asleep, he could hear J talking to him again, then he realized that J's soul had returned, like a ghost. Cray was able to see him for the last time, until through a kiss, J's soul entered Cray's body, making Cray's body now live with two souls inside it, much more effectively retaining Cray's curse, and making them literally soulmates until death.
