Colère

The brother of Aurora, this dragon has a fierce protective streak when it comes to his sister. He also has a bit of a temper, which can lead to unneeded exacerbation of fights. He has many scars to show for angering the wrong dragon, usually senior dragons who like to make their stance on hybrids known.

Dark blue scales decorate the area around his spine, and gradually become lighter shades of blue towards his underbelly, much like countershading seen in many other marine creatures. The webbing on his spine, chest, legs, tail, and wings are a translucent black, and carry the trademark nightwing star scales. His glowspots shine a faint yellow, as well as his eyes and blood. Any thin skin is also yellow, like his scars and ear membrane. He has many golden teeth to replace the ones he has lost in brawls, as well as many piercings. He... had a phase.

Aurora and Colère both hatched from the same egg, and much like how skywing twins can absorb each others fire, these twins exchanged their nightwing powers. Colère, unfortunately, got the short end of the stick, and cannot see more than a few second into the future, maybe a couple of minutes if he really focused. He mostly uses his ability to tell where his prey will move next when he is hunting. The nightwing teardrop scale is present next to his eye.

Aurora, on the other hand, has the majority of the future sight powers, enough to be on par with a purebred nightwing. She is able to see months, if not years, into the future. Hers are relatively involuntary, unfortunately.

Colère's mother, a nightwing, died shortly after their hatching, while their father, a seawing, cared for them until they were old enough to venture on their own. They journeyed to the nightwing kingdom, at this time it was under the rule of Queen Glory, and informed them of the death of their mother. They tried to stay with the nightwings, but were generally shunned for being hybrids, and found that they did not agree with nightwing politics. Because of these disagreements, they left, and went to go and visit their father. Unfortunately, due to Auroras lack of gills, they could not stay with their father, and ended up settling at the base of the seawing peninsula. They live near a coastal town mostly inhabited by mudwings and the occasional seawing. Colère regularly hunts in the ocean for himself and Aurora, and Aurora trades jewelry and other crafts made from the bones of their prey and shells with the merchants in the town near their cave. Their father regularly visits them, and stays with them on occasion.

Colère has a mostly seawing appearance, and fully formed gills. Aurora has a mostly nightwing appearance, with small, nonfunctioning gills.
