Oh Blue, little Blue.

Familiars are beings of pure magic, every Warlock or Witch will eventually end up with a familiar, this usually happens when they enter their early teens, when they start to come into their own with their studies of magic, but sometimes it can happen earlier or later, earlier being a sign of magical prowess, while older is a sign of weakness. A familiar is a beacon of magic and will enhance their masters powers by being bonded with them and in the general area of them. The Bond between a familiar and a witch or warlock is seen as a special one that has intense emotions tied to it, this isn't to say that one cannot go through several familiars before finding the correct one. On that same breath, familiars also can take a while to find a suitable master and can go through several witches or warlocks before settling. Familiars will continue on to the next person once their master has passed on, familiars do not die from age, but can die from other means. Familiars are to act as teachers, companions and as a source of magic for their masters.

Blue originally served a young master by the name of Angelo, Blue became Angelo's familiar when Angelo had his seventh birthday. Blue was manifested on that day from the magical pull of Angelo. Angelo was a podigy and had been able to practice magic from a young age with very limited knowledge on the theories around it. Blue helped Angelo with this, together they grew and Angelo was always eager to learn. Blue was a forgiving teacher, being loose when it came to Angelo's training and assisting Angelo to be able to manage the world of magic. Angelo was a quiet child, he really didn't have interest in anything other than magic and even though he was brilliant with his magic, he usually lacked the confidence to use it in times of need, this was something Blue figured he would grow into and was ignorant to the fact that Angelo would one day need to use magic under pressure, this would become his greatest failure. Angelo and Blue stayed together until Angelo had reached the age of nineteen, then, Angelo died. The details of Angelo's death are only known by Blue, that of which he refuses to speak of to anyone, the incident did change Blue, from a gentle, caring teacher to one who forces their master to face reality from the moment he steps into the scene. Blue doesn't tend to last long with most masters, most decide to desummon him and to persue a new familiar.
