Amidst my mistakes, master will continue to love me... Right?

Hoshi was born to a poor family that was notorious in the village as lowlifes. Though this was true, there were only 2 of the family of 5 that had not yet fallen into this category. These two had been known as the only good to come from the family and it had been Hoshi, the youngest, and her eldest sister (21 at the time). The family consisted of a mother, a father, and 3 children. The parents struggled to maintain employment and in their desperation forced their children into labor. Not only had these children been subjected to abuse and neglect at home, but also at the places they had been forced to work. Most notably, the eldest sister had been [I have decided to refrain from writing anything about the more disgusting side of how brutal she had it, but it serves importance later regarding her already deteriorating mental health]. All the children had been subjected to maltreatment, but there had been favoritism towards the middle child. Due to this, the eldest and youngest had the majority of the work and responsibilities and were punished when unsuccessful. Eventually, Hoshi and her eldest sister fell into a deep depression while the parents and middle child had been enjoying themselves with the money made by the two. Hoshi and her eldest sister were very close, they would take care of each other and be each other's support. After a while, her sister began to change. Hoshi was worried, but when she would attempt to reach out, her eldest sister would shut her out or change the topic. Eventually, their way of living crept up and overwhelmed her older sister. Hoshi awoke to moans and groans coming from her sister's room, only to discover he sister hanging from the beams above, gasping for air and in tears. Unfortunately, she was too weak to hoist her sister up. No matter how hard she tried, she was unable to lift her sister back up and continued to help even hours after she was deceased. Hoshi kept the corpse in the closest, huddling close and softly conversing with it when she needed her sister... Eventually, the body was discovered when the parents ran out of money and demanded the eldest sister step it up on earning money. Hoshi was punished "accordingly" for keeping the information of her sister's passing a secret and harboring it.

Many years had passed since the death of her sister, Hoshi had matured into a reserved and obedient adult; doing as she was told and never contesting. One evening, as she returned home from work, she discovered the door wide open. She proceeds with caution and surveys the entrance, slowly creeping into the living room. She freezes and a sense of dread spreads throughout her body. Hoshi is stunned to see the home completely stripped as if no one had lived there in the first place! She falls to the ground in disbelief and begins to sob uncontrollably until she can no longer do so. There was no money to maintain the home or continue living in the village, so she resorted to leaving in hopes of discovering a place anew. With just the clothes on her back and a bit of bread that was left, she set out. Weeks went by and Hoshi was dehydrated and on the verge of starvation, ready to collapse at any moment. She persisted through her pain along an isolated dirt road in hopes of finding anyone willing to help her, she felt herself giving out. Suddenly her vision began to blur and grew weaker, stumbling to the ground. She hears thumping and looks up to spot a carriage heading in her direction! As it neared, she collapsed...
