Profile

Elie is an ancient temple guardian, thought to be just a simple statue until it was awakened from centuries of dormancy by a group of adventuring Tea Beetles. It’s comprised of stones carved in the shape of an unusual, six-legged Insectoplant, inset with glowing spheres and markings. Bits and pieces of similar golems have been found scattered through the jungle, but none in such good condition. Some have been reassembled, but cannot be awakened, leading researchers to believe that Elie is the last of its kind.

During further exploration of the area surrounding Elie, no trace of its temple could be found, leaving the golem directionless. Because of this, Elie seems to have attached itself to the group of Tea Beetles that activated it, following them around and protecting them from danger. Elie does not speak or otherwise communicate, but understands things being said to it. It doesn’t seem to have much of an individual personality, however, it does show a notable aversion to ice and deep water.
