History of Celestial Beings

Before Aurelius ascended to become the Guider of the Stars, he was a normal human who lived a normal life. He lived a life surrounded by friends and family, filled with love and warmth. He made unbreakable bonds, irreplaceable memories, and connections that seemed would last a lifetime. He even grew to love a special person, with his feelings only growing stronger. Unfortunately, things were cut short for Aurelius when entities called the Celestial Beings called upon him. They had finally found their missing Link, the Guider of the Stars.

Each Celestial Being is referred to as a Link; had a "link" been broken, it would put the entire universe in disarray. Oblivious to the normal world, the world of the Celestial Beings had been under a vicious war that took the lives of a few Links. Luckily, all chosen successor Links were already present and swiftly ascended after the war ended; all but one: the Guider of the Stars. During the turmoil of war, the enemy of the Celestial Beings, the Demonic Beings, had infultraded their world. Guardian Celestial Beings fought them off but one Demonic managed to slip past and throw the successor Guide, Aurelius, down into the human world after giving him a fatal injury.

The Guider of the Stars is one of the most important Links, the one who guides the future and lays the path for history. Without it, the past, present, and future can overlap and mix up time itself. After the Celestial Beings finally won the war and started to align Links, they noticed the Guider had fallen in battle with the successor nowhere to be seen.

Aurelius, the Guider Link

After the Celestial Beings finally found Aurelius living in the human world, they realized he had no memory whatsoever of the other world or about his role as a successor. Unable to delay the empty Guider position, they told Aurelius he is to be ascended as a Celestial Being to join the other Links. With a sense of duty, he agreed and left with them, promising his friends, family, and loved one he'll come back one day. Unpronounced to him, they would wipe his memory clean of his life as a human, to start anew with fresh teachings as a Link.

Aurelius lived out his new life as the Guider of the Stars, believing that he was first initialized into the world after they had found him and not before. He held no recollection of his time as a human, but would always feel as if he was forgetting something; something very important to him that he should not have forgotten..

Memories and Recollection

Decades and eons pass, with Aurelius continuing to feel that nagging feeling. Celestial Beings do not die, they can only be slain by the hands of a Demonic Being, or if they choose to finally put themselves to rest, crumbling into stardust to join the stars. The human world has continued to move on and evolve, leaving behind the old and bringing in the new; departing with it's past residents, and welcoming in new lives. Aurelius's once called lover had already passed on long ago, but peculiarly their time cycle continues to revolve, bringing them back to the present each time in a new rebirth. Perhaps it's due to Aurelius's effect, unknown and subconcious to him.

The time comes when Aurelius descends down into the human world on a task as the Guider. After roaming around, he eventually comes across a certain human that he feels as if they were calling out to his soul, and his soul was calling out to them. It was his past lover, reincarnated for the unknownth time. With each rebirth, they seem to assume a random gender; they could be reborn as a woman, man, etc. Of course, this held no issue for Aurelius and was the last thing on his mind, with his memories of his life as a human coming back to him. He cried and ran to hold them, apologizing profusely again and again that he didn't come back in time. His lover just smiled and said, "but you're here now, with our times aligned."
