Charlotte is a foreign exchange student from the United Kingdom who, unfortunately, doesn't know a lot of Japanese. She's an intelligent girl, with a proficieny in English and French literature, baking, and botany. Even if she doesn't really understand what her peers are saying, she cares about most of them greatly and is full of love for them. She is a member of the Tea Club and loves to make sweet treats for the other Tea Club members! She hopes these pastries lead to her making friends more easily.
Charlotte grew up in the United Kingdom, born to a rich family as the only child. She grew up going to private schools in a more conservative area, which led to her feeling isolated from her peers and their transphobic remarks. She chose to sign up for the foreign exchange student program to get away from her classmates and to try to make new friends who wouldn't know her assigned gender at birth. Unfortunately, while filling out the application to the program she accidentally selected Japan instead of France. She had already learned to fluently speak French, and was prepared for her journey to France, but then was stuck on a thirteen hour flight to a country where she didn't know the language.
Currently, Charlotte goes to Mishamari Upper Secondary School, where she's struggling to make friends and keep her grades up. Fortunately, she met a handful of kind people at Mishamari that speak English, which then led to her meeting more people at school events and festivals. She loves making new friends and making pastries for them, no matter how little she understands them or how concerning their actions are at times.
- When out of uniform, she wears princess-y, frilly dresses and skirts.
- She's a bit on the thinner side.
- She has a tooth gap.
- She always has a bow or at least some hair accessory.
- Charlotte adores tea! Her favorite tea is Earl Grey tea, and particularly a variant called London Fog, which has steamed milk and vanilla syrup.
- Her favorite pastries are biscuits, particularly Jammie Dodgers.
- She has a natural tooth gap, and sometimes she whistles a bit when she talks. No, she doesn't plan on getting it fixed.
- Charlotte regularly gets manicures, typically by herself, but she would love to invite people to go with her. Once she makes more friends, she will invite them out to spa days!
