Celeste

Celeste is a child who is mostly peaceful and calm, they were taught that having a more passive type of nature would lead to better things in life. They were also taught to be a calm child, someone who didn’t fuss much because they enjoyed their life and taking it one step at a time. Once their parents died they had to learn how to become adaptable and to take care of themself, from figuring out how to find food, to learning how to hide and when was the best time to move around, they learned it all by themself. They do have trouble expressing their emotions, they can make sounds to try to help when people are trying to understand but it is hard and frustrating to Celeste to explain how they feel. Celeste has trouble understanding others emotions as well, it is hard to read the expressions on others faces and be able to tell what they are thinking, how they are thinking. Their outlook on life is pretty grim as is, typically avoiding staying in a place for too long as it scares them. What if the nice people die as well? Their pessimism is far larger than it needs to be for a child.

Their mother and father were traveling bards, both working together to try to bring joy during the calamity that had been going on for far too long. During their journeys they brought along their young hatchling Celeste. But sadly during the travels they were killed due to Moblins. Celeste was asleep during the attack. When they woke up from the little hidden spot both of their parents were gone. Celeste didn’t know how to react to their parents being gone, cry… yes… but eventually they had to move on. They began to travel without a real purpose as they realized their parents were not coming back.
