Intentional Parts of The Design! (Rather than a Quirk of MoonBeam's Artstyle.)
His bangs sweep up at the front. The rest sweep back.

You're welcome to reference these when drawing the character! But they're mostly here as a reminder for me; otherwise I'll forget. Don't bend over backwards to conform to my art style or anything.

The Physical Stuff

-Around 13 during pre-Stars plots.
-15ish when he joins the team.
-16-17(?) when Fang kisses him.

-Homosexual; Cis male.
-Probably Allosexual; Alloromantic.
Looks:
Vampire:
-Height (15-ish): 5'6"
-Hair Color: Really Dark Brown.
-Eye color: Hearth.
-Kinda short; very twinky.
-Lots of super light freckles.
-Wears a watch; usually wears cargo shorts.
-Sometimes has batwings.
Werewolf:
-Height (15-ish): 3'1"
-Fur Color: Light brown fur with dark brown accents.

-Freckles on muzzle.
-His muzzle’s kinda rounded and his nose is a really soft oval.
-Really small and scrawny for a werewolf.
Werepire:
-Height (15-ish): 5'6"
-Hair Color: Really Dark Brown.

-Very similar to his vampire form.
-Wolf ears in hair.
-Has a muzzle on his otherwise human face and a tail.
-His feet may be paws, tbh.
-Wears a casting brace on his left arm and a choker just for looks.
-Usually has batwings.

-The magic that comes to him most easily is fire magic!
Who They Are
Personality:
-The sensible twin.
-Would never hurt a fly. Flies probably hurt him.
-Awkward.
-Loves his brother and loves his friends.
-Tends to soften grump asses.
-Slightly religious. (It's not uncommon for vampires and werewolves to worship Moon Goddess Selene) He doesn't talk about it much, though.
Habits/Mannerisms:
-Drinks tea every morning. He has a very large collection of different kinds.
-This boy stargazes.
-Likes to mentally decompress by leaning into a stretch and then just laying there for a long period.
-Will sometimes cast fire magic through his thumb as a small light.

-Ironically an early-bird.

-Likes to read.

Background:
-Raised in a normal ass family with non-dead parents.
-Has twin brother; his name is Tyler.
-Was studying to be a normal person before he met Fang.
-Basically dropped out of school to go save the world.
-Fang rejoining the team with a random werepire was a surprise, to say the least.
-Has recently achieved his other forms and unlocked his magic and he's kind of trying to figure it all out at once.
Meta Section Where MoonBeam Rambles Incessantly about the Character from an IRL Standpoint.
Hoo Boy... Walmarty. Uh- to be completely honest? Marty's origins are kind of a mystery to me-- I know he was created at the same time as his twin brother and Luke, but when that happened and for what plot they were created alludes me. I... do not know when they warped into existence and only have a vague idea what they were doing before the Stars prophecy got started - I just know they were already in the universe Stars is set in.
The only thing I can really say about Marty's initial creation is that the whole idea behind him and Tyler were werepire twins where one is way more vampire and the other way more werewolf. I just thought the concept was neat.
I only really shoved them into the Stars plotline to be companions to Fang, otherwise they probably would've just been forgotten altogether. I love Marty and I'm very glad they weren't. In hindsight, seeing as they were a vampire-leaning werepie, a werewolf-leaning werepire, and a vampire, it seems a little odd they didn't have a werewolf friend to begin with to complete the set.
Initially, Marty, Tyler, and Luke were all tagalongs on the prophecy team, but in recent years I have relucantantly forced myself to downsize the maincast to a more managable size. Now Luke and Tyler are side characters, but Marty somehow managed to become important enough that he got to stay.
Small little fun fact about Marty, much like Bruno and Sam, Marty and Fang were never supposed to be in a relationship. It was only when looking back as an adult that I'm like "that whole thing smelled pretty fruity." But while Bruno and Sam were so blatantly married, that people were telling me long before I realized it, Marty and Fang's gayness seemed to slip by undetected. Secret gays.

Teammates:
Marty's Never Had a Bigger Crush in His LIFE.
-Believe it or not, Marty actually approached Fang first. Fang just seemed lonely and left out.
-His intimidation tactics and cold front don't really work on Marty.
-Somehow became so loyal and endeared to him, he decided to join the prophecy team and risk his life to save the world, despite in no way being obligated to do so.
-Fang helps him understand his werewolf form once he gets it. Marty's not really used to... any part of it.
-Accidentally fell in love with Fang (whoops).
-Thinks Fang is loyal and dependable.
-Excellent at talking Fang down from a bitch fit.

Something About Sam's Vibe Just Commands Marty's Respect.
-Sam seems so capable and patient with himself.
-He also seems so cool under pressure to Marty.
-Notices when Marty is struggling and wordlessly tries to help.
-Relies on Sam for moral support.
-Marty can't figure out if Sam and Bruno are dating, and at this point he's too scared to ask.
"If Sam's in charge, the world is in good hands."
Bruno's a Bestie. Marty Trusts Him Inherently.
-Thinks Bruno is really odd, but amusingly so.
-Reminds Marty a lot of his brother, but calmer.
-Bruno finds a way to make even the most mundane tasks an adventure; Marty really appreciates that.
-He reminds Marty of a raccoon sometimes.
-Thinks Bruno's "compass" is cute, but probably not real. Stranger things have happened, though.
"He's honestly the heart of the team. I think we'd all fall apart without him."
They Have Anxious Magical Creature Solidarity.
-He worries about her mental health a little bit.
-Marty's anxious enough with parents who support him. He can't imagine what North is dealing with.
-She seems to get the hang magic skills so quickly; Marty doesn't know how she does it.
-He also struggles with flying. Offers to stand there ready to catch her while she practices sometimes.
-She's very huggable.

No Matter How Hard He Tries, Marty Can't Get Chase to Open Up. ...Or Put the Knife Down.
-When they met, Chase pointed a broadsword at him. Marty's been wary of Chase ever since.
-Chase owns a worrying amount of weapons.
-If he were less afraid, he'd love to beg Chase to teach him casting techniques.
-He's very good at what he does; Marty finds him very impressive. He's just not very warm.
"I'm sure, deep down, he's just as sweet as Northstar says. But it would be easier to believe if he'd stOP THREATENING ME."
