Personality:
As a keen runner and back up dancer for numerous idol girl groups, Gyu-ri is very physically fit and enjoys exercise! She isn't very competitive but loves to dance for fun. What Gyu-ri lacks in academics she makes up for in street smarts. She is a very capable girl and can take care of herself, cooking (heating up a microwaveable meal) and cleaning (stuffing things into a closet.) Have you noticed her unkempt appearance? Gyu-ri has a habit of being messy and a bit of a slob. None of it is on purpose! She just has trouble cleaning up after herself.
Gyu-ri is very sociable and will strike up a conversation over nothing with pretty much anyone. It doesn't matter what social standing they have, if Gyu-ri is in the mood to talk, she will. She doesn't find making friends easy, so if she does happen to make one she will be a very trustworthy and dependable friend. She finds it difficult to read the atmosphere and takes things at face value, so if something isn't spelled out to her she won't understand. It's difficult to get Gyu-ri upset or angry because she doesn't recognise her own feelings. She can feel negative emotions but she discards them quickly in hopes that her problems will just go away.
Gyu-ri is very good at accidentally offending people. Though she is never purposefully rude and doesn't actively seek out to be malicious, her brutal honesty can upset most. Whether it be approaching a delinquent or leaving for the bathroom mid conversation, Gyu-ri does not fear the consequences of her actions. She is also quite shameless and doesn't give a damn about so called dignity or pride; she rarely gets embarrassed over anything. She finds it difficult to read the atmosphere and takes things at face value, so if something isn't spelled out to her she won't understand. Her own issues are a struggle to recognise.
History:
Gyu-ri had a rather uncomplicated childhood, though it was hardly glamorous. Her parents doted on her as she was an only child, though both worked odd hours at a supermarket and just managed to make ends meet. Gyu-ri never resented her parents despite often being left alone, and instead easily found her own entertainment either in the neighbourhood or around the supermarket and food court whenever both parents had to be at their job.
Although sociable, she was loud and obnoxious and found it difficult to make friends. Because she didn't really get along with her peers at school, Gyu-ri never really fit into any specific friend circles, instead floating from group to group. She was never starved of affection from her parents but struggled to form bonds with kids her age.
Being faithful employees for years finally saw her parents climb up the job ladder and the family recently moved to the city to man a store there. This introduced a lot more work opportunities for Gyu-ri when she became an adult, having no success in school academically but was an avid runner in her Track and Field Club, as well as a hobbyist dancer throughout her teens as she grew up watching idols. She somehow found herself a job as a back up dancer for numerous artists and groups, often joining them on tour around the world. Due to her kooky appearance, she has garnered quite a cult following online and fan blogs.
