Karner

Karner was born to a mother by the name of Aella, who spent her childhood in the Americas. She moved back to her homeland at the age of seventeen with her parents, and gladly. Sometime after moving there, at the age of twenty, she met a man who called himself Hermes. They fell in love, and the two had a child. However, after his birth, she discovered that his father had been the god Hermes, and thus she’d given birth to a demi-god.

She raised him in Greece for fifteen years, with the occasional and ethereal visitation of his father, until Aella moved her and Karner to the Americas. There they took up residence in Nashville, Tennessee. At seventeen, Karner was diagnosed with Dromomania, or the uncontrollable psychological urge to wander. However, it is a mild case.

Once he turned 18, Karner left home due to his travelling fugue and found his way to Toronto, Canada. There he took up work in a comic book store, and lived in the apartment upstairs from the store with the owner until he turned 23, at which time his fugue yet again came into play. He’s been traveling since then. While he makes his own money from time to time, like working in the comic shop, his mother continues to be supportive from a distance by giving him money when she can, he's very appreciative.

Over time, he’d made a few friends who he can readily get a hold of, due to his mother graciously paying his cell phone bill as he travels cross-country. Some of which are demi-gods like him, and some who are simply aware of him, and not his story.

Karner is the son of a human woman and the god Hermes. As such he is imbued with certain powers and attributes according to his father’s oversights. He is a man with athletic prowess, was once on the football field, and can run faster than’s probably supposed to be normal for a human ( which makes sense, i mean, he is half god. ) 

He’s almost a slight compulsive thief and his ability to fix things is almost uncanny.

He’s a secret writer, and someone who can haggle the pants off of a homeless man. His charisma is almost overbearing and he’s probably like five years old mentally and he acts like a little kid, all the time. Twenty-four seven. Maybe probably most likely the kid who put the whoopie cushion on your chair.

He also likes snakes.
