A retired army captain who was sent to the brink of death due to a monster bite, and can now see the spirits of the dead.
Stella was raised as an only child in the lower city. Her family had plenty of money and she went to an all-girls boarding school, where she was scouted as a model pretty young. This along with some dance and music training occupied most of her time as a child and teenager, but she always found herself drawn to history and military tactics that she heard about from her father.
When she was 18, Stella joined the military, much to her parent's dissaproval. Physical training was difficult for her at times, and her physical strength never seemed to improve. Despite this, she excelled in strategy and learned to use her abilities to support others on the battlefield. She was eventually made a captain, but after a few months with this role she suffered a near-fatal injury from a monster's bite. Nearly biting her in half, this monster severed her right arm and leg as well as damaging her internal organs and face. She managed to survive this due to the advanced technology, though this experience- and the mysterious nature of the monsters that plague this world- somehow gave her the ability to see and somewhat communicate with the ghosts of people who have died. These spirits now haunt her wherever she goes, constantly whispering things she can't quite make out. She has discovered that when near their loved ones, these ghosts become clearer and she can understand a bit of what they're saying. After realizing this, she opened a shop and now lives a second-life as a mysterious medium who never shows her face. After giving the spirit and their loved ones closure by letting them briefly communicate through her, Stella has found that the spirit will then gradually disappear and stop following her. Though this gives her a brief time of peace, the countless number of wandering souls in this world never stop finding her again.

Stella is a slender, elegent-looking ringtail cat. Her hair is very long and hangs over the right side of her face. Her right arm and leg have been replaced by high-tech prosthetics, which are black with blue highlights. Though she attempts to always cover them with clothing, her right side, shoulder and face are heavily scarred, with her bones showing in some places due to the monster bite slowly rotting her flesh away.
Stella is aloof and dignified, with very little sense of humor. She takes her work very seriously and is upset easily if something doesn't go the way she expected it to. Though she is difficult to make casual conversation with and never seems to leave "work mode", she is understanding of others' struggles and can be helpful and work well with others if she's in the right mood.

Stella is very physically weak, even before her injuries.
Before her injuries, Stella had average stamina. With her levitation and mid-range weapons, Stamina was not extremely important for her to perform well on the battlefield. After her injuries, Stella tires quickly and has trouble performing everyday tasks without the help of her levitation and chains.
With her levitation and chains, Stella can move herself pretty quickly. After her injuries, she prefers to float instead of walking.
Her long-range weapons and levitation allowing herself to position herself above the battlefield, Stella has a wide range of sight and is very good at strategizing and making quick decisions.
Stella's technique is top-notch. Her chains and power are useful in a great many situations due to her quick-thinking and intelligence.
Stella is a great strategist and knows it. She will often not listen to others' thoughts and only put her own plans into action, and though they are rarely faulty, listening to her soldiers is an important aspect of leadership that was difficult for her to learn.
Sentient Chains
Stella's aura summons two extremely long and slightly sharp chains, which are a silvery blue color. Their movement resemble snakes, twisting and winding around monsters to restrain them. The ends are usually wound around Stella's arms. Even though they're summoned by her aura, these chains are almost always on Stella's person, though they shrink significantly when not in use for battle.
Levitation
Stella is able to levitate herself up to a few meters above the ground. She cannot move particularly quickly or make sharp maneuvers with this power, so she also relies on her chains to propel herself if she needs to dodge an attack. It doesn't take much concentration for her to levitate, and now due to her extensive injuries she prefers to float rather than walking most of the time.
Strategic Mind
Stella has an excellent understanding of strategy on a large scale. Though she is proficient on the battlefield, her greatest strength is her ability to see the big picture and plan accordingly.
Aloof & Prideful
Stella always found it difficult to connect with her soldiers, though she cared for them greatly. Her pride would often get her into disagreements, though she would never resort to arguing or violence. She is a bit easy to offend.
Fragility
Stella has always been slender and a bit frail, but joined the army despite this. Physical training was always difficult for her, especially when she wasn't allowed to use her chains and levitation to aid her.

Stella met Spectra at an orphanage as a young soldier and quickly grew fond of her. Even now she visits her frequequently and considers him a younger sibling.
