Emil never meant to be a god, he'd only meant to take revenge for his fallen loved one. Who would've thought brutally murdering someone (or multiple someones) in a fit of vengeance-fueled rage could raise you to godhood? Emil is quite apathetic about his position as a god, only completing his duties and responsibilities as a means of sustaining his taste for gold and the finer things of life that he developed soon after ascending. He has little patience for high-energy people, and prefers to be alone. When he isn't in the heavens, he is wandering the mortal realm in various disguises.
