Family/Growing up

• Lionel is the only child of the previous leader/creator of the Boneyard Boys gang.
• Lionel Sr, also known as Boneyard/Senior, was the leader, and his wife goes by Deadlift, also a member of the Boneyard Boys and was often seen as the second in command.
  • Senior died fairly recently due to a heart attack or some other health issue, Shipwreck and his mom kept that info close to avoid any signs of major weakness probably.
  • Senior had the same powers as his son, electromancy. Between the two, Shipwreck has much more precise control, but Senior had the raw power to pretty much do whatever he wanted.
  • The old man had full plans on giving the gang to Shipwreck, but didn't train him up as much as he probably would've wanted before his early death. His wife now deals with their son's moodiness over the entire ordeal.
    • After he got Shipwreck out of prison that one time he decided it was time to kind of speed run training his son, but it didn't really get too deep into that.
• Deadlift is still very much a large part of Shipwreck's life. Still does things like cooking him meals/sometimes laundry, though neither one would admit that. 
  • She's still seen as the #2 in charge of the gang but definitely tries to backseat and let Shipwreck figure things out.
  • Her power is MUSCLE. Shipwreck really didn't inherit much from her in the strength department.
  • Often sends her son out to go pick up groceries and it's almost guaranteed that when he needs to pick up groceries he's going to be held up by something.
  • Only calls Shipwreck Junior when in private, if she has to talk about him in front of others it's either Shipwreck (usually with a teasing tone because why would her son pick a normal code name) or Lionel (with a different flavor of teasing, just because she knows it gets under his skin)
• Shipwreck was given enough freedom to hang himself with, and as a youth he fully took advantage of that, roaming the streets just because he could.
  • That freedom of being able to do whatever whenever came to a screeching halt when Shipwreck had to start being responsible for the gang, and it chafes him on a daily basis.
  • With that freedom came the encouragement to go out and cause trouble. He was pretty good at that, and eventually blew up a ship because the guy who owned it was an asshole to him. He ended up in jail for that, and that short time in jail also bothered him due to the lack of freedom.

• got his name by destroying part of a shipyard, leading to his arrest/jail time.
  • As much as he believes he got himself out early, his dad pulled strings.
  • He also has a middle name of Maximillian.
• hates being called short, compensates with his hair height
  • After he learned that keeping his hair ungodly tall pisses people off, he decided to keep it tall. He really has nothing against cutting it, but knowing he's pissing people off with minimum work is great in his mind. 
  • It started out as him growing his hair taller to be different than his dad, and then he decided to see how far he could take it.
• wears glasses instead of contacts when he's hanging out alone/at home, or when he just runs out of contacts. 
• loves causing trouble
  • Trouble can be anything as little as just moving someone's stuff when not looking to full on as explosions. Anything is good by him.
• really straightforward when talking to people/dealing with problems
• has figured out the balance of making noise vs. stopping and thinking through a situation
  • He'd love to cause more noise, but with being a leader of a gang and all he can't draw too much attention on himself.
• Has a great poker face, but terrible time keeping interested in things like card games. 
• Incredibly lazy. If there's nothing pressing going on you will 100% find him lounging on a couch falling asleep to some tv somewhere or reading
• he absolutely loves reading. He's been appeased on more than one occasion by a gang member who fucked up when they gave him a book out of whatever series he's reading
  • he likes historical things, both fiction and nonfiction. he's also down to read philosophical stuff, but he wouldn't try to apply what he reads because he doesn't care enough
• His power is electromancy, and he is really good at it. Uses his power to cause mild levels of mischief (such as shorting out appliances) to high levels of destruction (such as overcharging car batteries or something), to just straight up zapping people, such as loud upstarts in his gang
  • he also uses it to keep his hair tall
• He doesn't drink alcohol, preferring teas, coffees, and if necessary, energy drinks, though the last option is only when he's really hurting for caffeine.
  • He's tried it a few times and learned he's a lightweight, but with that he also learned that he loses his control over his electromancy, which is something he prides himself in. That scares him enough that he'd have to really be hurting to drink.
• He absolutely loves his freedom. Though it doesn't take the form of roaming the city at 2am anymore, he still cherishes every decision he can make for himself and not for someone else/the gang.
• The dude is as ace as possible. He doesn't even entertain harmless flirting, if he even catches that it's flirting.

Other dweebs

• Acts aloof/distant around his people, including Keir, to try and make his life easier as leader, even if he sees some of them as friends
  • Yes, he considers Keir a friend.
  • Keir is the only person out of the gang that calls him by his middle name, Max, just because he's that friendly with Keir.
• Vaguely knows Gamma, probably had a few coffee chats with her.
  • Works with her to make sure Keir is never really in any danger of saying things he shouldn't about the gang, as well as general well being. Such as after drinking too much and making sure he stays alive through the night and the subsequent hangover.
  • Probably has her call him Max too because Keir says it so much and he'd prefer that over Lionel for people he's chill with.

Boneyard Boys Info

• The gang's entire purpose in life is to cause a lot of noise and distraction. They'll also take hit contracts if they're interesting enough, or if Keir needs to be sent away for a little while on a job. Great for sibling gangs to swoop in and do whatever they want to do, or even internal members of the gang to get whatever they're going for.
• Shipwreck's doing okay as leader
  • he's pretty stressed/frustrated with being the leader, especially since he was never asked about it, just thrown into the spot and his personal pride won't let him walk away
  • He also knows nothing else but this so he's convinced himself he can't do anything else but this
