+ Pasusora Setting: Whites, Purples, and Pinks, Kasumi tends to stay pretty loyal to her preferred palette while home.  Pearl accessories tend to adorn most of her clothing as it's her signature gem. She can't deny a love of flowy things over top of that layer to take advantage of the breeze and have it flow around her or to keep her warm. Her sleep clothes tend to be flowy or ruffly as well, cutesy nightgowns.
+ Modern Setting: Loves just about anything that's pastel with frills or bows on it! Tends to dress conservatively and not show a ton of skin.  Leans towards functional fashion, but isn't opposed to sacrifice a little bit of function for a special event.  Loves fashion inspired by dolls, princesses, and magical girls!
+ Fantasy Setting:  A mix of rose and pearl themes, likes her clothes very clean and well kept.  Being a cleric, she is usually in white accompanied by soft pinks or purples.  Takes comfort over fashion, her clothes must allow her to travel where she's needed.  But even shoes made for walking can be made cute in her opinion! This applies to most of her wardrobe.

Personality: 
Often seen as the friendly and cheerful middle-child "sisterly" type, Kasumi is sweet and fairly playful, even if a little naive. She cherishes her loved ones unconditionally and will do just about anything for them. Due to her empathetic heart, she always treats others with warmth and respect. She's a little sheltered, but is determined to always persevere, able to come at new situations and grow from them. She won't just let herself get pushed around, but sometimes, someone knows exactly what buttons to push to get under her skin. Her expressions are honest, often giving away her true feelings.
Magical Abilities:
Light Magic
+ Protection; Kasumi can cast "shield" like charms that can protect her and others within range from attacks; however, the wider the area she tries to cover, the less time she can hold it.  The barriers appear as beautiful swirls and patterns of white light
+ Healing; Kasumi can heal herself and others from physical ailments.  Although this can be limited by how severe the wound and how much magic she's used recently, she is able to come back to the same injury/ailment slowly over time to make gradual changes.
+ Weaponry; Kasumi can make weapons out of light magic, like her other abilities, the more magic she has stored up, the stronger the weapon.  Although she can technically create whatever she can think of, she does have biases and things she tends to lean on.
+ Prophecy; Although weaker, this gift is inherited from her mother, and she sometimes has prophetic dreams.  They're often vague and a bit cloudy, but have been useful from time to time.

FAMILY
» Shinjiro [Father]:  She can't deny that she's a bit of a daddy's girl; she rushes into his arms and loves his big warm hugs and soaks up the attention. After long or hard days, she will sometimes flop into his arms for a little bit.  He adores his baby girl, and loves to tease her about her height, since she's so little compared to the rest of them.  His food will always be her favorite.
» Naoko [Mother]: She will always be her mom's baby girl in her eyes, and she loves when Naoko plays with her hair- it's especially comforting on those bad days. There are lots of smiles exchanged between the two when they meet eyes. They meet up now and then in Kasumi's Dreams, when Naoko is able to connect with her and make sure she's doing okay on her journey.
» Matsuro Itō [Brother, adopted]: Despite how it may seem, the two are very close. Kasumi, after the initial anxiousness of a stranger in their home, was always the most enthusiastic to making the family feel like home for Matsu. She does her best to be there for him when he needs someone and tries to do little, subtle things to try and make him smile. After everything that happened and everything they've been through, she's determined to find answers and hopefully bring him back.

Friendships:
» Kiora Adair: While Sakura is indeed part of the group and doted on, Kasumi can't help but be happy that Kiora comes along, and comes off more like an equal to her. The two couldn't be more different between fashion choices, general aesthetic, and even their fighting and magic prowess. The two are closer in age and although Kasumi was initially shy, she takes to Kiora quite quickly. Kasumi is more than happy to offer advice with new clothes when they get to another world, often finding clothing that she thinks Kiora would be more comfortable in but would also suit her aesthetic, and just general stories about their families (for what part the other feels like sharing). Her favorite things to share or hear about are tales about her homeworld because the two lands are so vastly, completely different, even if it always carries an air of sadness from both sides. Kasumi really appreciates that Kiora won't push for more stories if she doesn't feel like sharing, and can't help but enjoy Kiora's dumb tales from her Underground work days, or a retelling of one of the many love stories she was told. It does fluster her, however, when Kiora starts asking if Kasumi has an interest in anyone in particular.

» Taye: According to Taye, Kasumi's his new mom, by no will of her own. Despite the fact she clearly isn't and they all know this, Kasumi refuses to break his heart, and allows him to call her as such, though she does try now and then to convince him to call her by name. He's almost animalistic in his guard dog habits, growling and swatting at anyone who gets too close to her when he's around. It's obnoxious and he's rather a pain  about it, but Kasumi got her own small protector whether she wants it or not. It'd be all fine though if she didn't already have a large ninja protector. It's unknown if Taye is being jealous on purpose or just doesn't know any better.
Love Interest: 

STORY
Kasumi's life growing up was rather peaceful, living within a community held up above the clouds by unknown magic power. Bridges connect unique islands and are built by people who use magic to make them safe and stable. Buildings that vary in size depending on financial status but are typically built using white wood and pastel bricks. Flowers are abundant and gem collecting is common as they can be harvested and grown from the underside and inner layers of the larger islands. Rivers and lakes create waterfalls that descend to the earth below using a mysterious power to keep themselves filled. There are rumors of civilizations below, however they remain legend and continue to be unproven. Penetrating the thick cloud barrier seems nearly impossible; the people tend to like their way of life and don't pay it much thought.

A magical konpeito-shaped gem resides in Kasumi's world. In an attempt to take it for his father, Matsu causes the gem to shatter, scattering across time and worlds. Alongside their own companions, Kasumi and Matsu separately search for the scattered pieces to restore the gem, trying to find the pieces before the other.

When Matsu turns against his father and decides to team up with Kasumi, he finds that his new kintsugi ability is helpful with putting the pieces back together to restore the magical item. The star shimmers with a beautiful gold.
