Thalia

Thalia was a shy woman, the youngest of the team. She was very soft spoken but could find her way out of any situation with enough luck and determination. Eris adopted her as her first real friend, growing close with him as they joined Lunar Corp together and he pushed her to make friends with Heather. Thalia found an amulet while adventuring that pressured her into convincing the team to kill Alyas Carter, the previous director of Lunar Corp. When Thalia dealt the final blow, all responsibility and powers of the position fell to her. This drove a wedge between the group as Thalia grew more erratic, but it came to a head when Heather died. Thalia was pushed beyond her limit, and became mad with grief. Feeling as though she only had one option, she used her new found abilities to sacrifice another for Heather to return. Her intended target was Maxwell, as the two never got along, but Eris was targeted by mistake. Thalia’s mental stability never recovered from the guilt and the grief, mixed with the responsibilities of being the Director, and she treated new recruits as a means to escape her own feelings by putting them through hell.

Thalia had fallen in love quickly with Heather, and when Heather had suggested opening their relationship to include Maxwell, Thalia had agreed to keep her happy. The shift caused friction between her and Maxwell until they openly despised each other. She blamed Maxwell for Heather’s initial death and never forgave him.
