"Think you can beat me? Just try it."
arrogant • hardworking • assertive • blunt
Ryunosuke is an arrogant idiot who always loves getting into fights no matter the circumstances. He thinks that he's a great fighter but always manages to lose every time. At first glance, he can come across as aggressive and sometimes even rash, once he gets carried away. Yet, he is very hardworking and once assigned with something he deems important, he will try his best to accomplish it.
However, he has a strong dislike for the yakuza and refuses to take over his father's organization. Ryunosuke prefers to do things his way and won't stop to get what he wants. Contrary to belief, he's a good-natured person at heart and has a rather unique way of showing he cares about the people in his life.

childhood
Ryunosuke grew up in a large courtyard house, spoiled and sheltered with loyal servants and gang members surrounding him. His yakuza parents gave him whatever he wanted and much more than he could ask for. Especially his father, giving him the inheritance to the family. Of course to Ryunosuke, that was something he never wanted. Growing up, everywhere he looked there were yakuza gangs and organizations. He hated dealing with his family and would often throw a tantrum and leave every time his parents brought it up. His parents expected him to take over his father's organization once he retires. Although he expressed his disinterest over becoming the boss, Ryunosuke still loved getting into fights. One might even mistake him for a gang leader, since he had members, whom he didn't want, following him at times. He never liked having them around him when he was out.
No one in the organization takes him seriously, especially since they were always there for him and watched him grow, most still see him as a child. Everyone in the organization was either in their late 20s or older. Ryunosuke didn't have anyone around his age, aside from a few friends at school, to play around with. He definitely did not want to invite anyone to his house. Therefore, he'd often go to their houses instead.
I'd rather live with regret than be told what to do.
school life
Even though he had a few friends at school, he wasn't really close with any of them. Ryunosuke hated the thought of going to school and studying. What was worse was hiding the fact that he was from a household that was basically part of the yakuza. Ryunosuke would even get teased at school for showing up in a flashy limousine with a personal chauffeur. He was always embarrassed by the members that baby him on his way to school, packing his lunch and preparing everything for him.
When he reached high school, he had enough of the members and basically threatened them if they were to show up anywhere near his school. Ryunosuke was even more distant and kept to himself, lazing around and neglecting his duties. However, he was in the brink of failing and was then forced to have a tutor. It helped raised his grades enough for him to graduate with a somewhat decent GPA.
dropping out of college
Ryunosuke started out as a business major, he had no other option because everything else was much worse, according to him. His parents were extremely joyous as he chose the perfect major, claiming that it would help him understand a little more about the world he would be in once he takes over his father's organization. That was a big misake though. Taking those courses bore him to death and slowly drove him insane. One day, he would suddenly fail to show up at college and ultimately drop out without his parents consent. Ryunosuke just wanted to do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.
Therefore he started working part-time at McDonald's, in Shibuya. His parents got him into one of the top ranked colleges yet he chose to work at McDonald's. At the very least, Ryunosuke was making his own decisions so it didn't bother him too much.
responsibilities
Ryunosuke's parents and the members would never fail to bring up the fact that he needs to take over the organization. Calling him the "young boss" was a daily reminder of what he had to do. The higher-ranked members refused to give up on mentoring, training and making him study so that he could better understand how the organization works and what the job entailed. Although he doesn't want to study, with the amount of times they persistently went over all the rules, Ryunosuke would already have it drilled into his head. It was all out of kindness though as they all wanted the best for him. He knew because after all, he was the boss' only son and there will come a time where he would have to take over the organization, some way or another.
