Like many, she plays to escape the world for a bit.  Specifically the social obligation and pressure, mostly from her parents in the form of being a good girl and finding a nice husband to take care of her.  Actually, she's not much of a gamer normally, because it's not on the Approved Parental List Of Attractive Womanly Behavior™, but the ultra-realism, literally-like-being-in-another-body aspect of Magience attracted her enough to get a copy to keep privately.  

Initially she wasn't really interested in the actual world or gameish aspects and just wanted to screw around and party with a group of other players who were just there to screw around and party with each other.  Unfortunately a Player-Killer raided the party in the middle of her tryna get some dick and she's never been more pissed & embarrassed in her entire life, and at first she just wants to let it go and not feed the troll but after it becomes a recurring issue she hits a breaking point and decides she's going to learn how to fight SPECIFICALLY TO DESTROY THIS PARTY POOPER.

And she does, along the way, but she also learns a lot and makes some REAL ACTUAL FRIENDS and in the end decides she'd rather keep adventuring than go back to doing shit she could feasibly do irl if she was a little braver.

Personality

Values freedom highly, both hers and other peoples'.  Very spite-motivated and can do amazing things when she's really determined to get some revenge, doesn't matter if the matter is serious or petty YOU'RE GOING DOWN AT THE COUNTY BAKE-OFF, KAREN.

Can be very blunt(specifically in that edgy WHAT I'M JUST BEING HONEST way that shitty teenagers do), doesn't like to hide how she feels & is very flirty.

• Force Magic [has achieved mastery in fire and water magic and can combine them into the force sub-element, useful for throwing enemies around and enhancing her own agility, creating barriers that can strike back, etc]

The asshole who triggered her revenge quest.  She's grateful to them on some level, but still murders them on sight every time they cross paths(which is WEIRDLY OFTEN, she's half-convinced they're stalking her).

N'Tasha

Part of her team, assigned by the guild.  BIG BUFF STRONG TENTACLE GF.

LAMIEL

Her other teammate, N'Tasha's dragon.  A mediocre healer and man, but they get along well enough.
