Personality
Axe is a bright, outgoing individual who enjoys anything to do with machinery, engineering, and technology. She's especially facscinated by modern day technology and is (happily) overwhelmed from the innovations of modern times.
Otherwise, she's a determined, stubborn individual who doesn't stop until she gets what she wants. However, she has a lot of mood swings and constant homesickness and grief from having to leave Steamworks Islands and not know what's happened to her family or the citizens, or if they were even still alive in the cryogenic tubes. Axe is frustrated by her current inability to help them, and holds herself in low regard.

Story
However, Axe's machine malfunctioned, and she was released prematurely over 200 years later. Having no resources (almost everything on the island was broken down, rusted, or lost power) she escapes the island and sails off to seek refuge. Eventually, she encounters Amelia, who sets her up in a more stable living situation. As Axe discovers the major advancements and changes of the contemporary world, she explores the other islands and solves their problems, all the while vowing to gather the resources and courage she needs to rescue Steamworks Island.
