His birth parents were quite loving but very poor. His mother died when Hemi was 9 years old and his father had to put him and his sister into foster care as there was no way he could meet their needs. They were both adopted by a wealthy couple when Hemi was 11. Their living conditions changed completely, from a loving poor family they now had a wealthy neglectful family. They were raised by nannies and nurses and they went to a private Christian school. He never connected well with his adopted parents and resented them all throughout his childhood.[REDACTED] Hemi decided to go to college and Majored in English Literature. He then got his masters and became a librarian. When he was 28 he met Ella during what should have been a one night stand. She got pregnant and they got married soon after. Their son Oliver was born soon after they got married. Their marriage was very tense and they divorced 5 years later. When Hemi was 37 he got remarried to his girlfriend Judy but that marriage ended 4 years later when one of his mistresses got pregnant. He then got married for the 3rd time to Nina right after his second son Leo was born. During all this time his son Oliver lived with his mother and as the years went on he saw him less and less. Hemi is now in the middle of a mid life crisis and recently divorced his 3rd wife.
