Vanguard Captain Marklay is one of the many captains of the Capital's arsenal, and arguably one of the least tame. Donnovan is an unbelievably hard working cleric when he's given responsibilities, but beneath the surface is a more kindred spirit who wants simply to have fun and enjoy his time on the earth. With plenty of uprisings to squash in the further south, Lazarus has actually found it far more rewarding to 'punish' Donnovan with Squire-training duties, as he is more relaxed than most Arch Vanguard of his status.
