Profile

A cat with a very inflated sense of worth, encouraged by an overindulgent mother. Despite lacking a majority of the skills one would need to survive in the wilderness for the majority of their life and often needing to rely on the kindness of others, Kudzubloom exudes a confounding, and perhaps irksome confidence, unhumbled by prior experiences.

Their attitude tends to leave those they meet with a bad taste in their mouth; pompous, egotistical, self-serving, and vain. For that reason, it proves difficult for them to form bonds that matter or last very long. That aside, they aren’t entirely unpleasant to be around, possessing a certain flair and vibe that may attract others.

After all, it takes quite a bit of poise to have so little and still consider oneself a gift. Sassy and clever, they always have some form of witty remark on the tip of their tongue and a self-assured stride. Kudzubloom also seems to have an affinity for those younger than them, treating kits and apprentices kindly. They are, perhaps, the only ones they will consider to be worth more than themself, often unselfish with the young.. Kudzubloom was born in the twolegplace just outside the Clan territories beside two sisters, Lavender and Heather. Their parents were part of a small group of rogues, so despite not growing up in a Clan the litter lived rather securely and comfortably. Kudzu proved their mother’s favorite kit, spoiled by her and filled with the notion he was a wonderful gift. It seems they easily let the praise get to their head.

Most of their life was entirely normal, living peacefully within their community. Though they were taught how to hunt and defend themself, Kudzu proved rather lazy, and their overindulgent mother let them get away with this behavior, not wanting their favorite kit to grow up and no longer need them. The relationship grew to become over-dependent and unhealthy. Kudzu's father Hibiscus took notice and tried to put a stop to it, which only led to many fights between himself and Magnolia.

When Kudzu was 20 moons old and still behaving like a child, Hibiscus put his paw down and sent them out into the world, telling them not to come back until they learned a bit of responsibility and maturity. Being the stubborn thing they are, Kudzu did just that. Never came back. They lived fairly unbothered for a time, staying just outside of borders and on friendly terms with the Clan cats, though no doubt there were likely more than a few unfound of their attitude. The great snow seemed to strike the fear of StarClan into fellow, though. They were quick to seek shelter further in GorgeClan’s territory, well away from the borders.

Kudzu found themself becoming more and more involved with GorgeClan, sometimes joining them for hunts (they were never a particularly good hunter but proved to have an excellent nose for tracking). They would spend nights in the camp, and then one day just never left. Eventually, after pledging loyalty to GorgeClan, they received official training and were given the warrior name Kudzubloom.
